About the book

The dinner table, wherever it may be, offers rich ingredients for a myriad of short stories. My story, titled Cocktails Beyond the Horizon on page 116, is based on a true story told by my aunt about her visit to the remote Polynesian Fead Islands in Papua New Guinea in the 1950s.
