Ann Simmons — The Gift of Resilience

I’ve been wanting to write about my three times Gr-grandmother Ann Jane Simmons who was transported to Van Diemen’s Land in 1825. Here is a link to a brief story I wrote about her for the Genealogical Society of Queensland Inc. The photo provided is of her daughter Mary, to Michael Kevill who was transported to the colony for highway robbery.
